A great Macaw emerges from someone long buried. A metaphor for the rebirth of someone’s old spirit and ways.  Learning from the past and conjuring something beautiful, expressive, and enlightened. The spiral is a symbol of evolution and growth, while a cauldron is an object of creation with a fire to activate it. A spirit can be seen flying a kite in the background. This is the artists nod to her artistic and painterly grandmother and the symbolism of  “anything is possible” if you continue to dream.
